CAMPUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

Student Circles 

We are excited for our student circles to launch during Pride on Monday, September 14! Circle is led by the Pride Leader and we’re excited to launch one of our core Valor practices this year! 

Progress Reports: 

All families will receive a progress report sent via PandaDocs (flagshipesign@valorcollegiate.org) on Monday, September 14th. The data for these Progress Reports is reflective of student’s progress up until Thursday, September 10th. For the most up to date grades, please be sure to look in Illuminate under the Gradebook Tab! 

If you cannot locate your illuminate sign up code, follow these instructions from the 8/21 pride blast: 

Access codes for our gradebook & culture software (Illuminate & DeansList) were sent out to families on Wednesday 8/19 from our flagshipesign@valorcollegiate.org account. Please look in your email for a PandaDoc with your scholars’ specific codes for both softwares.

Flagship Picture Day:

Picture Day is happening at Flagship on Friday, September 25th. Scholars will take their pictures in their ELA classes. 

Teacher Appreciation Luncheon 

We are nearing the end of Quarter 1 and we are looking forward to Quarter 2. With that being said we would LOVE to celebrate our AMAZING teachers and staff as they have worked hard to set the tone for the 26-27 school year.  We will be hosting the Middle School Teacher Luncheon on Thursday  October 6th from 10am-1pm

Homework Support Workshop

Date: Thursday Sept 24th 2026

Time: 6:00–7:30 PM

Where: Flagship Middle School 

This session stems from our Family Valor Voice survey, where over 50% of middle school families expressed interest in learning strategies to support their children with homework. Join us to gain practical tools and tips to assist with homework challenges effectively. Also earn your scholar a homework pass for attending and learning more about Valor Homework. 

🥫 2nd Annual Network Food Drive

We’re excited to partner with Second Harvest Food Bank for our 2nd Annual Network Food Drive! From September 21st –October 23rd, scholars and families are invited to help us collect food and support neighbors in our community experiencing food insecurity. Every donation makes a difference! Stay tuned for more details on how your family can participate.

Vex Robotics Update: The FACE Team sincerely apologizes for the last-minute cancellation of our recent VEX Robotics session. Our program leader fell severely ill and was unable to send a timely notice.We are glad to share that our program leader has recovered, and received feedback on best practices for communicating in the future. VEX Robotics will resume this Tuesday. Thank you for your patience and support!

Design Innovators is looking for students (5th-8th) interested in interactive STEM workshops. Details below!

MS Yearbook Club: Thank you to everyone who signed up for the Middle School Yearbook Club! Our program leader, Shannon Larkins Wallace, is thrilled to welcome 30 students this year, up from just 4 last year, to help capture our school’s memories and complete this year’s yearbook! If your scholar is still interested in joining, you can sign up at valorface.com!
