WHOLE-CAMPUS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Week 2 is in the books! Thank you all for a great launch to the school year. Our students are doing a fantastic job inside the building and getting to class on time. We do need a little extra support in the morning ensuring that students arrive with enough time to start their day off right. Doors open at 7:10 AM, and breakfast is served. We strongly encourage arriving as close to 7:10 AM as possible so students have time to visit their lockers, eat breakfast, and get settled before class.
Please note that all students must be in the building by 7:28 AM for the final morning bell. Any student arriving after 7:45 AM will need a note, email, or call from a guardian. Thank you for your partnership in helping our students start every day prepared and on time.

Traffic Flow and Dismissal
The safety of our students, staff, and families is our highest priority. To keep our campus safe and efficient during pick-up, and also be good partners with our middle schools, we ask that everyone live out our shared commitment to safety by obeying all traffic rules and following the guidance of our dismissal team.
Please keep the following key guidelines in mind:
- Follow Staff Directives: Our staff members are outside during dismissal specifically to keep your children safe. Please listen to and follow their instructions at all times.
- Middle School Dismissal Area: If you find yourself in the Middle School dismissal area, please follow their specific traffic directives carefully.
- Keep Traffic Moving (“The Circle Rule”):
- No Lane Blocking: Vehicles are not permitted to sit idling or stopped in either the inner or outer lanes, as this blocks the flow of traffic and creates safety hazards.
- If Asked to Circle, Please Circle: If a staff member asks you to circle around, you must do so immediately. Please continue to circle until your student is at the pickup spot and ready to board.
Dismissal runs smoothly and safely when we all work together. Thank you for your patience, courtesy, and dedication to keeping our school community safe!

Senior Trip
Hello 12th grade families! The Senior Trip planning has officially started. Please refer below for details regarding the dates, deposit, and how to register.

Trip Payment Details
For your planning purposes, the estimated cost to attend will be between $300-$325. The cost includes transportation, lodging, meals, and a Class of 2027 Trip T-Shirt. The final cost will depend on the amount of deposits received by September 4, 2026. The confirmed cost will be provided once that deadline has passed. *Please note that the cost on the AST registration site does not reflect what you will be expected to pay. Valor will be contributing a portion per student.
Note: Failure to pay the deposit by the firm deadline, Friday, September 4, will result in being unable to attend, as we must submit final numbers to secure trip bookings.
