Introducing Valor Givings: Honoring What We’re Grateful For
We’re excited to launch Valor Givings, our first family fund drive, running November 2 – 22! This is a chance for our full community to honor what we’re grateful for and invest in what we value about the Valor experience. Our goal is to raise $10,000 through Valor Givings. Gifts of all sizes directly support our classrooms, programs, and initiatives that help every student thrive.
Why donate?

How to Give
- Visit the Valor Donation Page and select a one time gift or recurring donation.
- Select “Family Fund Drive: Valor Givings” in the drop down menu.
- Add a note of gratitude in the “comments” field to be displayed on our Wall of Thanks.
We encourage you to share about Valor Givings with your network! Please feel free to share our donation page on social media or by text/email/word of mouth. Every gift helps us reach our goal!
Frequently Asked Questions:
What will funds be used for?
Dollars raised will support the overall operating budget for Valor to sustain the existing programs that make our Valor model unique.
Examples include:
- Pride gatherings and grade level field trips
- our staff coaching model which ensures students have excellent instruction
- The Compass Store, our student incentive program
- Traditions like Color Wars, Jags Day and Lynx Games
- our academic materials budget (example: purchasing class novels or math manipulatives)
Are donations tax deductible?
- Yes! You will receive a receipt after donating online that can be used for tax purposes.
- End of year tax letters are provided via email for donations of $250+ or upon request (email jbellingeri@valorcollegiate.org).
What if I have more questions about Valor Givings?
We’d love to answer them! You can submit questions here, and a member of our leadership team will respond within a week. The form will accept questions through 11/21/25. You may also reach out to our Managing Director of Strategic Initiatives, Kendra Stein, at kstein@valorcollegiate.org.
