WHOLE-CAMPUS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
As we head into next week, we are excited to celebrate an important milestone for our 11th grade students. On Tuesday, March 24, all juniors will take the ACT, an opportunity for students to showcase their learning and take an important step toward their future. The ACT is also a graduation requirement for MNPS students, making this a meaningful moment in their high school journey.
We are proud of the preparation our students have put in, and we want to set them up for success on test day. It is important that all students are present and on time. Testing will begin promptly, and we are unable to delay the start. All 11th grade students must arrive and be in their testing rooms by 7:30 AM.
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting your student. We are excited to see them step into this moment with confidence.
If you have any questions, please reach out.
Thank you,
Dr. Gill

12TH GRADE ANNOUNCEMENTS
Core Team Meetings
The Postsecondary Success Team is beginning to host Senior Core Team Meetings! The main purpose of this meeting is to assist you and your family in comparing postsecondary options and arriving at an exciting and affordable choice. Bring acceptance letters and aid packages as well as your student’s completed Postsecondary Plan (you can review this with your students ahead of the meeting) to facilitate this process.
The meeting should be in-person, including student AND family. This ensures a comprehensive decision that everyone agrees on. These meetings are mandatory and will be counted as a summative grade (unless both parents and students complete the opt out form from your student’s counselor – in which case you will be excused from the assignment). Please be sure to schedule meetings during non-core content classes only (ex: I Block, Journalism, Personal Finance, etc.). Meetings will last about 30 minutes and will be available from 3/16-4/24.
Please email your student’s postsecondary success counselor with any questions.
