Voyager Faculty Update
- Dear Voyager Families,
We hope this message finds you well. We wanted to inform you that there will be a change in the teaching staff for 7th-grade Math at Voyager, as Ms Gaddis will not be returning after the holiday break. We will post the role of 7th-grade Math on Jobvite this week.
During this transition period, Mr. Moreno, a valued learning associate, will temporarily take over the responsibilities for this class and also continue supporting the Pride and I Block. We have full confidence in Mr. Moreno’s abilities to provide quality instruction and maintain a positive learning experience for our students.
We also wanted to express our appreciation for Ms. Gaddis and the contributions she has made during her time at Voyager. We wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavors.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this transition or any other matters, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We value your feedback and are committed to ensuring a smooth and successful learning experience for every student at Voyager. Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
Sincerely,
Mr. Palmer
Parking and Traffic Reminders
Hello Valor Families,
In the spirit of keeping ourselves and others safe, we wanted to remind everyone of a few key parking and traffic routines. We have received reports from our neighbors and our safety officers that some of us are not following the proper arrival, dismissal, and parking procedures. Please review all of the traffic protocols that are found here, but I wanted to highlight some below.
- Parents and guardians should utilize the traffic circle to drop off students, and should not park to drop students off at the compass training center, Tractor Supply, at the laundromat, or other neighboring businesses/homes.
- Parents and guardians should not park in faculty or student parking spaces during school hours, and should use the visitor parking spaces closest to the school when they need to come inside for any reason
- Parents or guardians should not park in any local business or residential parking lots near the school. If you park there, even for short periods, your vehicle is subject to towing or being reported for trespassing
- Only Flagship families can enter and depart at the Bass and Nolensville exit.
- Only middle school families who carpool, 11th and 12th grade car riders, and student drivers should utilize the traffic circle around the student parking lot area in front of Voyager and VCP.
- When exiting from this parking lot, you MUST turn right towards Northcrest Drive (not towards Nolensville Pike)
- Voyager and VCP 9th and 10th grade car riders should utilize the traffic circle behind Voyager and VCP and drive around front to drop off your students
- Parents should never drop students off in the rear of the school. We don’t have the faculty to direct traffic back there, and dropping kids off back there is a safety hazard.
- Please drive all the way around the school and drop your student off in front of the school
- Parents should never drop students off in the rear of the school. We don’t have the faculty to direct traffic back there, and dropping kids off back there is a safety hazard.
- Do not drive through the parking spaces in the parking lot. Please utilize the traffic arrows to guide you around the circle.
- Do not drop your students off before doors open, because we don’t have adults actively monitoring students until after school doors open. Dropping students off before doors open is a safety risk, and you are dropping off at your own risk.
- Middle School drop off 7:30-8:00 am
- High school drop off 7:00-7:30 am
